Summer is a time for delicious, icy treats, going to the park, and visiting boating clubs to enjoy some fun in the sun. Summer is when you can spend time with your family without worrying about rushing someone off to school or to work. You can make plans with your friends and even go on vacation with those who mean the most to you. During most of the year, you’re under a lot of pressure, but when it’s summer you can take a few days off to really enjoy and soak in what life is really about. If you don’t have as much time for a vacation as you’d truly like, then a great way to spend a weekend is on a boat on Lake Lanier. If you’re hesitating about going boating in the last few weeks of summer before school starts, then ask yourself why? There are so many benefits to spending a day boating. From health benefits to spending time with your family without any distractions, visiting a boating club will give you the fun in the sun you’ve been craving this summer.

At Freedom Boat Club, we’re proud to say that we have two boating club locations around Lake Lanier. This past spring our new location, Cumming, was opened to the public. Our older location, Buford, has continued to excel in offering boats as well as exceptional customer service. We’re proud to offer two locations to our members at Freedom Boat Club. If you’re a long time member at Buford and are curious about Cumming or you’ve decided to come to the Cumming location, then we can give you some information on the similarities and the differences of both of these boat club. Some might think they are very different and others might think that you can get other benefits when visiting our newer location. We’re here to set the story straight on what you can expect from both of these locations.

The Similarities Between Cumming And Buford

The similarities between the Cumming and Buford location are vast. First, you can get speed boats and pontoon boats at both of these locations. The boats that are available are very similar in each location. The people who work at the Cumming and Buford location are some of the nicest, most experienced, and passionate boating people you’ll meet. You’ll find when you go to either of our locations that you have access to the same things. There are no major differences between these two locations. From deciding the perfect boat to take out with your family to paying the same in membership fees, you’ll notice that you can have the same experience in both of these locations.

The Differences Between Cumming And Buford

Of course, with two separate locations, there are always a few differences. In this case, there are two particular differences between Cumming and Buford. The first difference is the distance. You don’t have to drive as far to the Cumming location if you’re coming from one part of the state of Georgia. Depending on where you’re located, the Cumming location can be a lot more convenient of a drive. Additionally, some people have wanted to come to Freedom Boat Club, but it’s too far in comparison to the new, closer Cumming location. The second difference is that sometimes even though two locations are the exact same you prefer the people, area, and a specific boat. Humans have a tendency to dislike change and when you’ve been going to the Buford location for some time, it can be difficult to mix it up. However, take the time to visit both of our locations to see the similarities and differences between them.

If you’re interested in seeing either of these locations in person, then take some time to stop by the Buford or the Cumming location to spend the last remaining weeks of summer boating. For information about our memberships, fill out the form below.
